Are You Choosing The Wrong Home Theater TV Setup?

You have a wide variety of choices when it comes to choosing a home theater TV setup for your system but the most important variables are size and picture resolution.

Choosing a 27 inches or even larger televisions are the order of the day. It's not true that the larger the picture the more cinema like it appears. This can be true in some cases but before buying you must consider a lot many things.

It is very important to see that the size of your home theater is in accordance with the size of the room where you are planning to install it. The proper viewing distance between you and the television has to be maintained as everyone is well aware, so the larger the set ,the bigger the room required. One more point of consideration would be the amount of natural light the room receives ,as some larger sets do not perform well in a bright environment. It is imperative that you measure the area where you plan to place your TV and choose the TV size after all the given considerations.

When determining the right kind of home theater TV setup for your system, you may select what's known in the business as a direct-view TV--the kind that we are most familiar with and the cheapest option. Other alternatives includes rear projection TV which features the LCD display, flat panel TV with either LCD or plasma, or rear projection TV, which will need a separate movie screen.

Choose a television which receives a digital signal - not an analog. Digital signals are progressively scanned which provides a higher picture resolution. Such a set will be simple to locate as the United States is changing its broadcasting format from analog to digital and televisions are being manufactured with this in mind. The highest quality digital signal is known as HDTV. You must purchase a compatible set in order to get this extra resolution but these are the most expensive televisions. You can invest in an HDTV-ready television for your home theater system and upgrade later
